Проза

Калейдоскоп

- "I don't know. I think it's too complicated. Why not just talk about the book? All these questions - what do you think about the style, how would you defend, how would you compare? We need to talk about the book! He should have just said "You, tell me about Thérèse, and you - tell me about Laurent. And you, you will tell us what happened."
- "Yes, I see what you're saying," I replied, "but that would make it much easier for us."
- "Oh, but there are many things to talk about! Economy in crisis, war in Iraq, elections, Bush, Obama! We need to talk, like, oh, I've seen this movie, or the show on TV! Other groups I was in, it was like this!"
- "Yes, but ... what if I didn't watch any movies or I've given up on television?"
- "Oh, then, er ..., then yes ... But I don't know ... You think you're coming next time?"
